DESCRIPTION:After the huge success of our previous art camps\, art sessions\, workshops\, and creative projects at Youth Club\, we’re thrilled to announce Summer Art Camp 2025! \nLed by our talented in-house artist Josh\, with support from Zoe\, this two-day creative camp is designed to give children the space to explore\, express\, and develop their artistic skills in a fun\, relaxed\, and inspiring environment. \n\n🖌️ What to Expect\nOur Summer Art Camp is packed with hands-on activities including: \n\n\nDrawing & painting \n\n\nCollaging & crafting \n\n\nStep-by-step tutorials \n\n\nIndividual and group art projects \n\n\nPlenty of chances to experiment and express creativity \n\n\nWhat will the day look like?\nWe will be focussing on different types of art from drawing\, painting\, collaging and crafting and will experiment with different styles encouraging kids to be creative and express themselves through art\, with our guidance. We will be enjoying a range of fun engaging activities and projects but also will be get to experience step by step tuition from Josh enabling young people to learn new skills and techniques. \nThe day will be split into sessions where we will be working on different projects throughout the day. We will have breaks and lunch in the main area where normal Activity Camp will run so young people will have the chance to socialise and purchase food and drink from the tuck shop. \nWhat about lunch?\nPlease bring a packed lunch\, a water bottle and snacks. If your child would like to purchase food and drinks from our tuck shop please send them with some money. \nWhat to wear?\nWe will be providing aprons but we encourage young people to wear OLD clothes as they may get paint or glue on them. \nBookings need to be made through our website. This is split up by\, a lunch break and several snack and rest breaks. Finally\, at the end of the day\, all the children will have the opportunity to join in on our Camp Disco. We have plenty of activities planned to keep young people entertained and safe throughout the holidays. Join us for a week of indoor and outdoor sports\, games\, sports days\, themed days\, disco sessions\, arts and crafts projects\, baking and more. \nA Day at our Summer Holidays Activity Camp\nOn arrival\, parents or carers must sign their child in and provide some emergency contact information before we start the day. The day is then made up of around six different activity sessions for each child. Activities include football\, baking\, dance\, indoor play\, outdoor play\, rugby\, dodgeball\, boxing\, arts\, and crafts and more! This is split up by\, a lunch break and several snack and rest breaks. Finally\, at the end of the day\, all the children will have the opportunity to join in on our Camp Disco. At our Disco\, sweet treats and prizes can be won for the best dancing or party games. All sessions are led by professional coaches\, dancers\, and youth workers. All coaches have also been fully DBS-checked and have years of experience working with young people. \nWhat to bring/wear?\nWe recommend that attendees wear whatever they feel most comfortable in. It is essential that they can easily move around in the clothes they are wearing. Most young people who attend will wear something simple like leggings and a T-shirt or tracksuit bottoms with trainers. Moreover\, some young people will also bring a lunch box for the lunch break\, however\, we do have a tuck shop and a small café that serves food and drinks. Our most expensive meal option is £3.50 and some other hot food options cost just 50p. \nHow to book\nBooking a day at activity camp has never been so easy. Every ticket is now available for purchase below\, you can book a ticket for the whole of the summer holidays and also weekly tickets\, these tickets are discounted. \nFor each day there is a choice of three tickets\, this is because you can also book a half day for either morning or evening if you aren’t able to make a full day. If you have not filled out a membership form before or need to update your details\, please ensure you do this upon completion of your purchase. If you have filled out the form before simply add your child’s name and confirm that they are in year one or above for each ticket. \nAll updates and photos will be posted on our Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/HunsletClub \nBookings can be made through our website.
