World Championships

Shannon Adamson & Megan Kelly-Wright have returned from the Irish Dance World Championships in Philadelphia where they reached the second round stage. Competing against over 300 dancers Shannon Adamson, age 13 and Megan Kelly-Wright, age 12 danced two rounds coming very close to places in the final 50.

Irish Dancing is great fun and very fulfilling. It develops body co-ordination, fitness, self discipline, confidence, motivation and learning skills. You learn about ancient cultural traditions, could take part in competitions and performances and make some new friends.

"Irish Dance is like flying. The skies the limit, and the higher I jump, the more my soul and heart seems to soar."
