WILD COOKING CLUB

NEWS

New Wild Cooking Club Launched!

A big well done to Taylor-Mae, age 6, who came up with the group name, we love it!

Thanks as well to the Healthy Living Grant Scheme managed by Leeds Community Foundation for helping to make this happen!

If you’d like to learn how to grow your own fruit and vegetables and cook up delicious meals and snacks, then this will be the group for you.

Anyone aged 5 to 16 who’s keen will be welcome to join, you’ll have fun with food every week, both in our kitchen and outside in our garden (as long as the weather is alright!). One week you might be making a stir fry, the next it might be fruit smoothies, in fact you may even be able to suggest some of your own favourite foods which the group could also do.

Nobody will go home hungry! Taylor-Mae who thought of the name for the club says "I think everyone should come because you’ll make tasty food and drinks." Brooke Rhodes who also helped name it says "I’m really looking forward to cooking better than my dad!"

Wild Cooking Club

We are really pleased with the name of this group and were pleasantly surprised when one of the most famous gardeners in the country, Alan Titchmarsh wrote to us to congratulate us on it!
