Anyone with an interest in taking up or progressing with this sport should call down and spend some time at our boxing gym – you’ll be taught by coaches with top level experience, the place is smart and it's packed with the right equipment - it's also packed with camaraderie, friendship, teamwork and hard, hard work.

Boxing has long been a major feature of The Hunslet Club and with great progress and achievement made by members who in time, have for example gone on to compete for the country at The Commonwealth Games. Two of our boxers in recent years have gone professional and won numerous titles. There is much up and coming talent to be found here on an evening.

"Lots of my friends from school come here too, it’s a good place to meet people. The workers are great. I’ve learned loads from the trainers about boxing techniques and keeping fit".
